Lethal Lisbon Treaty

The Lisbon Treaty forges an empire, an emperor and an anvil for war!

LISBON: THE E-MAIL DUELS: In the last of our e-mail duels between Lisbon Treaty protagonists, ROGER COLE , chairman of the Peace and Neutrality Alliance (Pana), which is urging a No vote, exchanges blows with BEN TONRA , associate professor of international relations at UCD school of politics and international relations, who is an advocate of a Yes vote

************
Excerpts:

ROGER COLE: Why is there a need for rapid reaction forces and EU battlegroups that will go far beyond the borders of the EU? Why does the Lisbon Treaty include an EU armaments agency to bolster the European defence industries and require Ireland to “progressively improve” its defence capabilities?

Are we not entitled to believe the EU is being militarised, and that Ireland should have no part in it?

The Lisbon Treaty’s defence agency will boost arms production and arms sales, aggravating conflicts around the world, and, no doubt, in the pursuit of profit, distorting the EU’s common foreign and security policy.

The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new EU superior to its member states. It replaces the rotation of the presidency with a permanent one. It establishes an EU minister of foreign affairs with an EU diplomatic corps. It commits the EU states to increase their military capabilities, formalises the EU battlegroups and expands their tasks to include supporting “third countries in combating terrorism in their territories”.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it’s a duck. The EU is becoming a militarised super-state, and it appears from the above that you not only clearly agree that the EU’s military should be used, but that it be used without even a UN mandate.

Ben Tonra disingenuously states: "... our rights in the EU are unassailable. Nothing in the Lisbon Treaty can require the Irish Government to go to war, to spend more on defence, to participate in any military action, to join a military alliance. Nor does the treaty allow other member states to act in our name." [emphasis mine]

Isn't the Lisbon Treaty deviously designed to alter, without the consent or vote of the people, anything, at any time, the elitists elect among their closeted selves in Brussels, Berlin and Rome? Isn't this the alarm Declan Ganley sounds? Warning: "With just intergovernmental agreement, with no need of going back to the citizens anywhere, they can make any change to this constitutional document, adding any new powers, without having to revisit an electorate anywhere."

Doesn't the Lisbon Treaty empower a virtual dictator and sidekick in Europe's theater, ready to storm the world stage in a new crusade to enforce peace through strength, Pax Romana, obedient to the oracles of their Pontifex Maximus?

Watch for closer public collaboration between the Catholic Church and European State.

Undoubtedly, the proposed European foreign minister (High Representative for Foreign and Security Affairs) will quickly be dispensed of as the European president consolidates all power to himself; Germany will dominate and France will be put into its place; Europe's imminent top ten leaders will submit to their "king of kings" and world war will be just a crisis away!

Some might scoff at secular Europe being seduced by Roman Catholic wiles, intoxicated by visions of reviving the "Holy Roman Empire," failing to grasp how they'll work together to further their own agendas (and ultimately betray each other). Never forget the occult undercurrent that fed Hitler's Third Reich as it will feed the Beast that is about to be unleashed upon the world.

As noted in The Rape of Europe: "No Means No!" -

Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall states biblical prophecy reveals the two most powerful positions in the world will be political and religious, held with an iron-grip by a pope and emperor! Europe's imminent Church-State union awaits the crisis that will bring it all together, the lightning strike that will energize it and shock the international community.

I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all 12 Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it). I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God and Herbert W. Armstrong taught us to keep the Festival of Tabbernacles before it became so popular. The Worldwide Church of God members were pioneers.

Unlike many of the Evangelical Christians attending Sukkot (Tabernacles in Hebrew) in Jerusalem, we kept the biblical Feast of Tabernacles (and all of the biblical festivals and holy days) out of loving obedience to our Great Creator God, the God of the Bible, the God of Israel, not merely to show solidarity with the Jews.

Intolerance upon the Temple Mount

Last week, our synagogue in Beit Shemesh made its annual High Holy Day week visit to the Temple Mount. We began the tradition six years ago when the site was reopened to non-Muslims. During the first three years following the start of the September 2000 war launched against Israel by the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Hizbullah, the government decided to reward Arab terror by barring all non-Muslims from even setting foot on the Temple Mount.

I was unjustly deported from Israel for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under Nazi-Muslim occupation in an article published in Jerusalem.

A House of Prayer For All Peoples?
Jewish guards prevent Christians and Jews from exercising their religious right to pray on the Temple Mount? That's right! Only Muslims have unlimited access to Judaism's most holy site. Only the Koran is permitted within. The Tanach (Jewish Scripture, known to much of the world as the "Old Testament") and Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) are forbidden. Yet Israel claims to respect the religious rights of all people.

Jews Must Demand Rights to Temple Mount
During a 1995 Root and Branch lecture in Jerusalem, Professor Nahum Rakover, author and then Deputy Attorney General of Israel, publicly agreed with me that it isn't illegal for Christians or Jews to pray upon the Temple Mount, even though it is forcibly prevented by the police.

Restore Israeli Sovereignty Over Temple Mount
The Wakf, the militant Muslim authority that oversees Jerusalem's Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site and Islam's alleged third holiest site (following Mecca and Medina) continue to show blatant disregard for Jewish, Christian and biblical history and non-Muslim sensitivities.

From Toledo to Jerusalem
You could say I have a God-given love for the Jews and the nation of Israel (Isaiah 62:6-7). That sacred bond has been strengthened over the years by the fact that I've been blessed to have lived all over Israel, getting to know its land and people quite well.

Israel's Unjust Deportation of David Ben-Ariel
As a Christian-American member of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, I had been privileged to participate in their legal demonstrations during my 10-month stay in Jerusalem awaiting dual citizenship. Israeli television often showed me with my Jewish friends carrying Israeli flags throughout the Old City.

American Detained in Jerusalem's Russian Compound
Nobody arrested me. I was detained when I faithfully reported to the police office at 9 a.m. Monday morning, January 9, 1996 (day before my birthday) the day after The Jerusalem Post published on their front page an article shedding light on what they were doing in the dark: "GSS Seeks to Deport American Citizen for Plot to Blow Up Al Aksa Mosque."

Still at Large!
The Jerusalem Post, Jan. 8, 1996, had a front page story about how the GSS sought my deportation for alleged involvement in a "plot to blow up the Al-Aksa mosque."

The Day of Atonement and Reconciliation

We have already seen—through the symbolism involved in the Passover—that Christ's shed blood atones for our past sins. In fact, atonement means reconciliation. The Day of Atonement symbolizes the reconciliation of God and all humanity.

Yom Kippur

Tradition - even empty, hollow, shallow - has assisted Jewry to preserve this Day, however imperfectly; yet I also couldn't help but think of God & Kahane who might dismiss such "worship" as vain and such "devotions" as void. Liberal, Hellenist, humanists who have nothing to do with God and are ignorant of or deny His Word as a general rule, as hypocritical & unacceptable as professing Christianity on the pagan days of Christmas and Easter...

Israel fails to secure Temple Mount for Jews

Arab Riots on the Temple Mount
by Hana Levi Julian

(IsraelNN.com) Two police officers and two Muslims were injured Sunday morning when Arab riots erupted on the Temple Mount. The area was immediately shut down, although the Western Wall plaza remained open to Jewish worshippers. One police officer lost his temper and cursed the Jews.

Email readers, please click here to view the video footage.
Warning: Video footage contains strong language.

Eight suspects were arrested in eastern Jerusalem following the incident, according to Israel Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld, who said that scattered disturbances were continuing around the area, primarily near the gates to the Old City and in Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem. A security presence has been beefed up in the area, he added.

The riots began after Jewish worshippers arrived to begin preparations for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which begins Sunday at sundown. Arabs who worship at the mosque on the site started hurling rocks at approximately 7:30 a.m. as a group of 100 Israeli Jews attempted to enter the Temple Mount. It's all because of you religious Jews!

A mob of some 150 Muslim worshippers surrounded the Jews, according to Rosenfeld, who told Israel National News that officers on the scene fired stun grenades at the rioters, and were able to bring the riot to a halt. A dialogue was opened with Muslim Waqf officials in an attempt to calm the situation, but ultimately riot control procedures were required.

The Issue of the Temple Mount
The common knowledge of our time is that the vast majority of Rabbis of this generation have prohibited the Jewish people from entering the Temple Mount (Har HaBayit), the holiest site in Judaism. The Temple Mount is the site of where the Beit HaMikdash (the Jewish Temple) once stood and the place where the Moslems have erected one mosque, the al-Aqsa and a site of pilgrimage, the Dome of the Rock.

G-d Doesn't Listen to Jewish Prayers at the Western Wall
Gershon Salomon warned Israel and its leadership that as long as the shameful situation on the Temple Mount continues, and as long as they do not obey the call of G-d, peace will not come to the land. The enemies of Israel will continue to desire her land and will pressure those in power to divide it. Obedience to the call of G-d will bring peace, all of Israel's enemies will be removed and no one will wish to divide or desire the land

Zionism and Pioneering on the Hills of Judea and Samaria

by Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katzover

"Lofty spirits," "elation," "joy," "inspiration," and "strengthening" were only some of the words used by the participants in the chizuk tour to bring support and encouragement to the outposts in Benjamin and Samaria - to describe their feelings at the end of a full and emotional day organized by Women in Green.

A hundred people came to take part in the tour, from the Jerusalem area, Gush Etzion, Kiryat Arba-Hebron, and even from Tel Aviv and Kibbutz Shoval in the Negev. One bus was for Hebrew speakers, and a second bus, for the English speakers. The outstanding guide Aryeh Klein from Hebron left us all the wiser with the amazing information he gave us, as if he were a walking encyclopedia.

The first stop was at Bnei Adam, an outpost some 4 kilometers from the community of Adam in the desolate Benjamin hills, between Nahal Prat and Nahal Michmash, that looks out at Maaleh Edumim, to the south, and to all of Samaria, to the north. Young couples who live under harsh conditions (in tents, karavanim [mobile housing units], and even in a bus) joyfully received us, and gave us all an instructive lesson in pioneering and the love of Eretz Israel. The destruction of three caravans about a month ago by the government of Israel, with the cooperation of Amanah, did not weaken them. Two families remained at the site, and are organizing to rebuild their homes. The third family will come back soon.

From there we traveled north on Route 60. At Har Bracha we turned right, passed by the Samaritans, and arrived at Mitzpeh Yosef, an outlook with a view of the entire city of Shechem, and a clear view of Joseph's Tomb. Words cannot describe the emotions we all felt. To see the place where Abraham heard from the Holy One, blessed be He, (in Genesis 13:15): "for I give all the land that you see to you and your offspring forever"; to feel the thousands of years of Jewish history at that very place; to be angry at its temporary occupation by the Arabs; and to gain strength from Joseph, who - despite being alone among the Arab enemy - broadcasts determination, power, and tremendous devotion to Eretz Israel. This was simply an experience of exalted spirits fitting for the Ten Days of Repentance, that just strengthened our understanding that we must greatly intensify the struggle for the Land.

At Mitzpeh Yosef we met Hayyim Parag, who showed us plans for the construction of a magnificent tourism observation point at the site, for the thousands of tourists who, with G-d's help, will come to gaze upon Joseph's Tomb, until the day will come when, with G-d's help, we will be able to return to Shechem itself.

We stopped for lunch at the Ronen Farm, at the foot of Har Brachah.

On the way to the settlement of Haresha in the Talmonim bloc we stopped at the Gilad Farm. The Gilad Farm was established in response to the murder of Gilad Zer, may G-d avenge him. At present, tens of families live there. This Rosh Hashanah, Arabs threw Molotov cocktails at the settlement. The fire spread rapidly, and two caravans caught fire. One caravan burned to the ground, and the family couldn't save anything. Everything was burnt - clothes, photo albums, books, everything. The second caravan was severely damaged, and is no longer fit for habitation. This event can definitely be called a pogrom. But this Arab attack did not make the headlines in any of the press, except for our national right wing newspapers. The Israeli media reported a single laconic sentence: "Arabs set fire to fields in the Samaria area, there were no casualties." Once again we see how the lives of Jews in Judea and Samaria are free for the taking. But, with G-d's help, the inhabitants of the Gilad Farm are strong. The community immediately organized, and with the help of friends and the Samaria Regional Council, funds are being raised to build new homes for the two families.

The high point of the tour was the community of Haresha, in western Benjamin. Haresha is located on a hilltop that affords a view of the entire coastal plain. Haderah, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, and Ashkelon are in the palm of one's hand, within reach. Anyone who still does not understand why it is forbidden to establish a Palestinian state, and for whom an ideological argument is not sufficient, has only to stand in Haresha in order to understand what would happen to all Gush Dan if, Heaven forbid, such a Palestinian state were to arise.

A fateful struggle is being waged now in Haresha. This battle gets no state media exposure, in the hope that Peace Now will succeed in carrying out its machinations. The community was established ten years ago, on state land, with government funding and encouragement. About forty families live there now. In 2005 the Peace Now extreme left wing movement filed an appeal against eight stone structures in Haresha (and, likewise, against the settlement of Hayovel, near Eli). The left claimed that these structures are "illegal," but it is known that this is not true. The structures received all the permits, except for the final signature by the Defense Minister, who, for political reasons, refuses to sign any permit for any place in Judea and Samaria. The case has been dragging on for four years in the court, until three months ago, when the High Court of Justice decided to put an end to the matter. The High Court of Justice gave the state four months to give a precise date for the destruction of the structures. That is to say, within a month the bulldozers might come to raze the structures.

Our hearts were filled with pride, and we breathed a sigh of relief, when the representatives of the Haresha residents who spoke with us, made it clear that they were setting out on a stubborn and uncompromising struggle against the destruction decrees, without any political deals. They explained that they understand that the struggle is not over their private homes, but for the entire settlement enterprise in all of Judea and Samaria. Haresha is the first domino that Peace Now hopes to push down, with the help of the High Court of Justice and the silent consent of the government. We must stop the madness in Haresha. Their struggle is in conjunction with the struggle by the Regavim organization against Arab illegal construction, as they highlight the discrimination against Jews.

If, Heaven forbid, all these struggles are not successful in the political sphere, the inhabitants of Haresha promise to conduct a much more determined struggle than that in Amona, and they call upon the entire people of Israel to aid them. (A full report on Haresha and how to help them will be posted on our email list after Yom Kippur please G-d).

Without doubt, this was a full day in which we came to encourage, and came back encouraged.

We met the best of the proud Jews who, with their own hands, are continuing pioneering and Zionism, totally devoted to Eretz Israel.

In each place we distributed to the inhabitants the wall carpet designed by Ruth Matar with the verse from Isaiah 62:1: "For the sake of Zion I will not be silent, for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be still." And in truth, it is these Jews, who live under harsh conditions in the outposts, who are the defenders of Jerusalem, and of Zion, i.e. of all Eretz Israel.

We want to thank Elisheva Ginsberg and Michal Melamed for their assistance in organizing the tour.

Thank you to the guide Aryeh Klein for his excellent explanations. Last but not least, thank you to Gemma Blech for her help in guiding the English bus and for taking such wonderful pictures that can be seen by clicking on the following link:

Mugabe: Don't speak against farmers with your mouth full!

Transcript: Christiane Amanpour interviews Robert Mugabe
Story Highlights
CNN interview is Mugabe's first in years with a major Western network
Mugabe rejects criticism that he has turned Zimbabwe into a "basket case"
On land reform: "Zimbabwe belongs to the Zimbabweans, pure and simple"
Denies any responsibility for harm to the nation from his economic policies

************
Robert Mugabe, the horribly selfish and deceitful African dictator, the black racist who has raped Rhodesia and left it as Zimbabwe ruins, hardens his heart against honest questions Christiane Amanpour dared to ask.

White Rhodesians, productive white Zimbabweans, are being hounded off their God-given land by racist black dogs - land that they've diligently worked and effectively managed to the blessing of every Zimbabwean - by both the military and thugs who thrive in the climate of hate against people of white color, especially farmers.

These barbarous acts of injustice are aided and abetted by Mugabe's racist policy of "land reform." It's the Black African version of the same socialist demand to "spread the wealth around" - taking from those who produce and giving it to those who don't - failing to grasp that killing the goose that lays the golden eggs ruins it for everybody. Taking over a farm (often by brutal means), seizing farm equipment, and lacking the knowledge or will to work it leaves the land barren and the country destitute. Such is Zimbabwe under Mugabe!

Dictator Mugabe, drunk on the dregs of socialist poison, slurs that white farmers have a "debt," that "they occupied the land illegally. They seized the land from our people." When Christiane Amanpour attempts to sober him up with facts, noting some "80 percent of that land was acquired after you took office, some of the farmland, and with the very certificates that mean government approval. Why are these people being hounded out of the country? Why are they being... They're being hounded off their land," Mugabe denies it's their land, even though his corrupt government went through the charade of certificates, and then attempts to sanction such ethnic cleansing by exposing the British betrayed their white brethren during Lancaster House discussions: "They knew we had this program of land acquisition and land reform." Ian Smith's book, The Great Betrayal, was appropriately titled.

Black African Dictator Mugabe brands the productive white farmers (whom all Zimbabweans owe a debt) as: "Citizens by colonization, seizing land from the original people, indigenous people of the country." Sounds like the various inter-tribal African conflicts, the different historic tribal wars, the Mfecane, except the superior tribes of white color raised everybody's standard of living, all things considered.

Mugabe professes to be a Christian, but he clearly isn't a Bible-believer. Mugabe goes against the Word and Will of God whose prophets identify Israel in these last days. The birthmarks of fulfilled biblical prophecies include, as the Jerusalem-based Brit Am Israel organization teaches:
According to the Bible ten out of the twelve tribes of Israel split away (1 Kings 12:19), formed their own kingdom of "Israel" (1 Kings 12:20) and were exiled by the Assyrians (2 Kings 17:18). They forget their identity (Hosea 1:9, 7:8; Isaiah 49:21) and became the Lost Ten Tribes. In the future they will re-unite with the Jews (Ezekiel 37; Isaiah 11:13; Jeremiah 3:18) of "Judah", but until then they have a role of their own to fulfill. They were destined to be situated at the continental extremities of the earth such as North America, the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa (Deuteronomy 33:13; Isaiah 24:16, 26:15, 41:8-9, 49:6), to be the richest (Genesis 27:28, 49:25; Deuteronomy 33:13-16; Hosea 2:8), and most powerful (Numbers 24:8-7; Micah 5:7-9) nations on earth and to control major international strategic bases (Genesis 22:16-17, 24:60). All of these points together with numerous others show that descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes can only be found amongst Western Nations, especially the English-speaking ones.

We have an old saying here in America, "Don't complain about farmers with your mouth full." Africa owes white farmers a debt. Mugabe can rail against colonialism but if it weren't for people of white color in Africa, the pioneers and their descendants, all of Africa would still be living in the Stone Age!

Our Great Creator God decreed parts of Africa for white Israelites and it is His good earth, His land to give - not shifting and warring black populations, so-called "indigenous peoples."

Manifest Destiny rings true for the United States and Manifest Destiny rings true for Africa; for Israel in the Isles and the Jewish homeland, even if politically correct cultists are tone deaf to this plain truth.

Save Zimbabwe, restore Rhodesia: Mugabe must go!

Holocaust Hypocrisy!
Learn the lessons of Hitler's war against the Jews: there's no lasting place for Jews in the Exile (where most remain), that such a self-imposed exile will lead to self-destruction (in one way or another), that you must take your enemies at their word, not your wishful thinking (like the delusional "peace" process), and it's necessary to return to the Torah of God and Homeland of Israel.

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel
I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all 12 Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it). I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God...

Israel's Only Way Out: Follow Kahane!
Israel must make concessions, Israel must do this, Israel must do that, while the Arabs continue to get away with mass murder and terrorism (while promising peace and feigning ignorance), aided and abetted by the international community...

Yom Kippur

From the Temple Institute:

The Divine gift of teshuva is here for all who avail themselves of its life-transforming power. And while teshuva exists every day of the year, it is on Yom Kippur that G-d grants us His undivided attention, as it were. It is on Yom Kippur that G-d expresses His absolute trust, and faith, and love for all His children. Teshuva is a gift we dare not squander.

Yom Kippur: the Divine Gift of Teshuva

Netanyahu's speech

The hypocrisy of Benjamin Netanyahu's UN speech

What chutzpah! Why should CFR Benjamin Netanyahu invoke the Holocaust when he's collaborating with Nazi Muslims to dismember the Jewish homeland? Isn't that hypocrisy? How can CFR Benjamin Netanyahu invoke the Holocaust when he aids and abets twisting parts of the Promised Land of Israel into an accursed Palestine? Isn't that hypocrisy? Such a perversion of the holy Land of Israel meant for the Children of Israel (not hateful Ishmaelites who are sworn enemies) wouldn't only be a thorn in Israel's side but a constant clear and present danger and source of friction - just like the Military Industrial Complex would order.

How can Netanyahu condemn Holocaust-denier Ahmanijedad while collaborating with Holocaust-denier Mahmoud Abbas? Isn't that hypocrisy? How can Netanyahu dare preach to the world about the Holocaust and facing the dangers Iran presents when he shamefully endangers Israeli men, women, children and babies in strollers by rewarding terrorism? By disgracefully ignoring there is no difference between Hamas and Fatah? That both terrorist organizations call for the destruction of Israel, whether phased destruction or immediate? Why foolishly remain in denial about Fatah? Is he unteachable?

How can Netanyahu decry the miserable failure of Israel's bizarre ethnic cleansing of 8,000 Jews for "peace," hatefully uprooting 21 Jewish pioneering communities (settlements), and how Gaza instead became a hornet's nest of terrorism, a war zone, when many clearly warned that's exactly what would happen, when he's ready to cruelly evict more Jews and destroy more Jewish homes? Has he no shame? Is he unteachable? How can Bibi fail to learn the lessons of the Holocaust and Gaza?

If Netanyahu truly believes "the Jewish people are not foreign conquerors in the Land of Israel. This is the land of our forefathers...We are not strangers to this land. It is our homeland," then why hatefully speak of dividing the land? Why be double-minded and despise Israel's God-given inheritance and dishonor Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Why does Judaism's holiest site - the Temple Mount - remain Judenrein for the most part? Is Israel so weak it needs the affirmation or approval of the world to love and defend its people and land? Israel needs to break free from such a ghetto-mentality!

If Israel truly wants peace, based in reality and not wishful thinking, they must learn the lessons of the Holocaust, they must learn the lessons of Gaza, and reject "risks for peace" and enforce peace through strength!

Let Netanyahu and every Israeli and Jewish leader hear and know this:

“No Jew is at liberty to surrender the right of the Jewish Nation and the Land of Israel to exist. No Jewish body is sanctioned to do so. No Jew alive today has the authority to yield any piece of land whatsoever. This right is preserved by the Jewish people throughout the generations and cannot be forfeited under any circumstance. Even if at some given time there will be those who declare that they are relinquishing this right, they have neither the power nor the jurisdiction to negate it for future generations to come. The Jewish Nation is neither obligated by nor responsible for any waiver such as this. Our right to this land in its entirety, is steadfast, inalienable and eternal. And until the coming of the Great Redemption, we shall never yield this historic right.”

Iran targets Israel

Reaganite Republican re: "Obama hates Israel!":

Since the Israelis are the target of an Iranian extermination plan, they cannot afford the luxury of a Pollyana, cafe-debate world view like Barack thinks is so modern and "cool".

Israel can go-it-alone if she has to... the IDF probably has the military capacity already to not only bomb Iran, but win the wider Middle East war that is likely to result.

Unlike vs. Hezbollah in 2006, the Israelis will fight this one to win, and win BIG... vs. Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and the rump Hamas. The IDF will go ALL-out too, with infantry and armor from day one.

Team Obama would be well-advised to keep an eye on the horizon anytime they're visiting their new pals in Tehran... for a formation of Israeli F-16's coming-in at Mach 2.

The Israelis did us all a huge favor in 1983, taking out Saddam's reactor in the face of world condemnation... and they'll they'll take care of business again. Unfortunately, Israel is used to such misguided and ignorant moralizing- same as they've dealt with for years.

As for Obama, polls show their populace has completely turned against him, they don't care what this smiley plastic mannequin has to say anymore... as he turns the US into an irrelevant, impotent bystander.

Sorry about him, Israel- normal Americans still support you.

Obama's failure

Europe to Take Out Iran For Jerusalem
As the United States called upon Israel to become their virtual protectorate during Operation Desert Storm, the European Union will offer Israel guarantees of peace and security. Europe, not the overextended and highly inflated United States, will take out Iran.

Why Israel Will Survive a Nuclear Holocaust
How can we rest assured Israel (the American, British and Jewish peoples) will survive? Especially since the imminent nuclear genocide attempted against us by the German-EU will be the most brutal in Earth's history.

Thoughts and Projects

Thoughts and Projects
My wife and I have been going through Rav Kook zt"l's Hazon HaTzimchonut VehaShalom (Vision of Vegetarianism and Peace). The objective is to write a paper for the completion of her yoga teachers' course. Janet is currently vegetarian, although not ideologically so, but rather for reasons of health and preference. She was veggie for a number of years but in order to avoid inconveniencing hosts and guests as well as raising boys who wanted "normal food", she went back to eating meat for a number of years in between. The last couple of years she is still serving meat on Shabbat and Chag but not eating it herself. Our daughter Miriam, who is currently travelling in India, does the same. They both feel too heavy and uncomfortable after eating meat.

Rav Kook discusses the reason the Torah permitted the eating of meat after the Flood. There was a necessity of separating between the animals and humans in order to treat human life as more significant and more worthy of respect. People who treat animals and humans equally consider human life as equally expendable in times of difficulty. People who are coarse in their character traits and commit serious transgressions often try to compensate by some good deed to make themselves feel better, such a giving charity or helping their parents. If the Torah had been filled with obligations toward the animal world as it toward the human sphere, people would fulfill those impulses "cheaply" by good deeds toward animals. Animals do not compete with us and therefore don't get under our skin the way people do. In such a hypothetical situation the gangster would discharge all his desire to do good on animals and would never develop the truly human side of his personality. Only when the human personality will be fully developed in the time of the Redemption will it be possible to totally give up eating meat.

Another book I am reading, somewhat under pressure and not as successfully, because I have promised to return it to my brother-in-law on Sukkot, is called Hasidic Psychology: Making Space for Others, by Mordechai Rotenberg. The author is a descendent of hasidim but of a more "modern" bent, having been raised modern orthodox and gone into the academic world. He takes the kabbalistic concept of tzimtzum, the "contraction" of the Divine Presence in order to make room for creation, and turns it into a prescriptive formula for human relations. He presents the hasidic model of psychology as an alternative to the competitive Prussian-Protestant model of traditional psychology which, although it was formulated almost entirely by Jews such as Freud and Adler, was the product of the Germanic psyche.

My real problem, and this is a long-term one, is the relationship between Torah and media theory. I have yet to find a serious rabbi or Torah scholar who is asking these questions. The questions are, how do media work on the human psyche, what is the difference beween oral-aural, textual and electronic media; and finally, how do we go from understanding how they work to anticipating and affecting them so they will not hit us on the head as they did during the Gaza Expulsion. I read some McLuhan in the '60s and Neil Postman in the '90s but have not seen these questions addressed in the Torah world.

Let me give you an example. Perspective in art did not come into being until the Renaissance. Pictures drawn or painted before then are flat with no dimension of depth. Depth comes from binocular vision, the existence of two points of view. The innovation of such a concept requires thinking "out of the box". A certain amount of time was required to incubate the invention of movable type and free people from the manuscript perspective and add a dimension. The explosive Jewish contribution to scientific and social innovation was derivative from a previous bedrock of Torah as the basis of the thinking of all serious thinking by Jews. Torah consists of an oral and a written or printed culture coexisting simultaneously as separate layers at the same time. When you access them together you get "depth". This is an insight by me with as yet no proof. Anyone who wants to help me think about these ideas is welcome.

I used to be a vegetarian due to Hinduism, but when the God of Israel revealed to me Hinduism was false, I began to eat meat again (meat that is permitted in the Torah).

Interesting thoughts on why it's permissible to eat meat after the Flood. Worthy of more consideration. Thank you.

Self-hating Jews are dangerous

The Moral Inversion of Richard Goldstone

So now we can see how Richard Goldstone thinks he has preserved his judicial reputation while perpetrating a blood libel against Israel. He has produced a report which, as anticipated, finds that Israel committed all the ‘war crimes’ during Operation Cast Lead of which his Mission members had decided it was guilty before even starting their deliberations, along with the NGOs whose unremitting hostility and malice towards Israel and history of peddling Palestinian propaganda as fact did not deter the Mission from uncritically accepting their evidence as the truth, thus finding Hamas guilty of no crimes at all -- except one. That was, by an amazing coincidence, the one set of crimes it committed which the world was forced to acknowledge actually happened – the firing of rockets from Gaza into Israel with the sole intention of killing Israeli civilians. By referring to this en passant, devoting minimal attention to it in the course of his 570- page report the vast majority of which is devoted to allegations against Israel, he engineered the ‘even-handed’ headline he needed to maintain his credibility:

There is evidence that both Israeli and Palestinian forces committed war crimes in the recent Gaza conflict, the official UN report says.

Obama hates Jews and Israel!

Obama Orders Israel to 'End the Occupation'

by Maayana Miskin
(IsraelNN.com) United States President Barack Obama issued a stinging condemnation of the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria on Wednesday in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly. The U.S. “does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements,” Obama announced.

Using unusually harsh terminology, Obama called to "end the occupation that began in 1967" - referring to Israel's control of Judea and Samaria.

Yes, Israel must reclaim all the Jewish homeland and end the Arab occupation of the Promised Land of Israel, especially the sacred Temple Mount. The Holy Land of Israel deserves to be liberated. Holidays in Captivity and Letters to Jonathan Pollard

Justice4JPnews - September 21, 2009

Our sages teach that captivity is the worst of all possible afflictions because it includes all the other afflictions:

"The sword is worse than death, famine is worse than the sword, captivity is worst of all"
(Babylonian Talmud, Bava Batra 8a)

The worst days in captivity for a Jewish captive are Shabbat and Jewish holidays. Even without a Jewish calendar, the neshama of the captive senses the extra Kedusha (holiness) of these days, and its suffering is increased exponentially, not only because of the afflictions it is enduring, but especially because of its inability to act upon the Kedusha.

There is little consolation for a soul that is fettered and deprived of the most basic Jewish expression at holiday times - how much more so during the Yamim HaNoraim - The High Holidays.

The letters that Jonathan is receiving at this time are his lifeline, his reassurance that people on the outside care very deeply. Jonathan often remarks to his wife, Esther, how very much he enjoys the letters and how varied they are. They run the gamut, he said, from one end of the spectrum to the other in terms of stories, anecdotes, prayers, and personal life experiences. Some people write of how they much are praying for Jonathan, others recount personal problems so severe that Jonathan is now praying for them (along with all of his prayers for Am Yisrael).

Most people express the hope that Jonathan will write back, but he simply is not able to. Why not? Because all of his out-going mail is routed via the National Security Agency in Washington where it is supposedly "vetted" to ensure that it does not contain classified information. In the process of being "vetted" somehow all of his out-going mail gets lost or destroyed. It does not reach its destination. This is an age-old vengeful technique that is intended to demoralize a prisoner.

Fortunately, Jonathan does receive all of his incoming mail. Incoming mail goes directly to the prison mailroom where it is checked to ensure that the letter is in English and does not contain any contraband. (No bubble gum, stamps, glitter, stickers, money etc permitted). Only letters and photos are permitted (Photos in modest quantity: up to 5). Letters in Hebrew are shown to Jonathan very briefly (not sufficient time for him to read) and then discarded; it is clearly preferable to write in English.

As soon as the mailroom staff checks the mail, it is distributed and Jonathan receives all of his letters, without exception.

Especially now at holiday time, please keep writing! Please know that all of your letters reach Jonathan as long as they are correctly addressed and contain no forbidden enclosures. Please know as well, how very much these letters mean to him.

Here is Jonathan's address:

5770 UPCOMING ACTIVITIES (Women in Green)

Dear Friends,

This new year is, according to our calendar, the year 5770. The year in the Jewish calendar is expressed by letters. 5770 equals the Hebrew letters "taf", "shin" "ayin"- which can be an acronym for "May this year be a year of Aliyah and increased activities"

Women in Green is starting the new year with exactly that: increasing, even more, our activities for the Land of Israel.

Below you will find a reminder about tomorrow's exciting chizuk trip to some of the outpost communities in Binyamin and Shomron. We have a few places left on our second bus. Yes, please G-d, the response has been tremendous and we will be, please G-d, a hundred people, at least, tomorrow that will go to strengthen our brothers in the hilltops of Israel's Biblical Heartland and come back strengthened.

After that you will find the details about our special program in SHDEMA on the first day of Hol Hamoed Sukkot, Sunday October 4th. A day of real Eretz Israel joy, for the entire family, NOT TO BE MISSED!

The struggle for a Jewish Shdema is receiving more and more attention by the media and the politicians.

It is important to have a big turn-out on Sukkot in Shdema. The more people show up, the more chance we have to keep Shdema in Jewish hands. Tell your family and friends about it. For those who want to receive the flyer about the Sukkot event in Shdema (flyer in English and Hebrew), please email us and we will email you the flyer so you can print it and post it in your synagogues and community centers.

Be a partner in the increased activities for the Land of Israel! Join us!

Robert Mugabe, a Marxist terrorist

Re: Zimbabwe Ruins Proves Ian Smith Right

It is shocking that Robert Mugabe, a Marxist terrorist from the beginning, could literally get away with murdering 30,000 Matabele tribespeople in 1983, then proceed to reduce a fabulous, First World nation into ashes. He further targeted the white minority, labelling them as "enemies of the state" in a desparate effort to find a scapegoat to disguise his own appalling political failures and economic mismanagement. Now, thanks to the equally sinister and corrupt ANC, South Africa is ten years away from becoming the new Zimbabwe.

Our irredeemable international system

Column One: Our irredeemable international system
September 18, 2009
Caroline Glick, THE JERUSALEM POST

Our international institutions are irredeemably corrupted. From the United Nations to the International Criminal Court and their affiliate and subordinate bodies, these institutions are rotten at their core.

It isn't that they don't function. They function just fine. The problem is that through their regular functioning, they advance goals antithetical to those they were established to achieve. Instead of promoting global security, human rights, freedom and international peace, they facilitate war and aggression, human suffering and tyranny.

The UN General Assembly is now convening its 64th session. As they do every year, heads of state from across the globe are descending on the Big Apple to participate in the proceedings. As they convene, their agenda will demonstrate the failings of the UN. On the one hand, they will consider the UN Human Rights Council's latest broadside against Israel, which comes this week in the form of the UNHRC's 575-page report of its probe of Israel's behavior in its military campaign against the Hamas terror regime in Gaza this past December and January.

On the other hand, they will not give the slightest consideration to the fact that Iran is about to become a nuclear power, in contempt of its international obligations, and so is poised to become the gravest threat to international security in the past 25 years. Moreover, they will pay no attention to the fact that as it sprints toward the nuclear finishing line, the Iranian regime is engaged in a systematic and brutal repression of its political opponents, who since the stolen June 12 presidential election have been clamoring for freedom and democracy.

Both in its treatment of Israel and in its treatment of the Iranian regime, the UN demonstrates that its practices are an inversion of its stated mission. Despite its leaders' and supporters' repeated claims to the contrary, the UN stands shoulder to shoulder with tyrants and aggressors against democrats and democracies seeking to advance the causes of freedom, human rights and international security.

MANY ISRAELIS reacted angrily to the UNHRC's probe of Israel's prosecution of Operation Cast Lead, claiming that its final report presents Israel - a liberal democracy - as the moral equivalent of Hamas - an illegal terrorist organization dedicated to the commission of genocide against Israelis. Yet in their anger, they missed the real problem with the report.

As Prof. Avi Bell from Bar Ilan University law school notes, Richard Goldstone's report does not present Israel and Hamas as moral equivalents. Rather, it presents Israel as terrorist and Hamas as a legitimate government.

The Goldstone Report does not accept as fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization and that consequently, in accordance with binding UN Security Council resolutions, all UN member states are required to work to disband it and give no quarter to its members and supporters. Instead it treats Hamas - which is charter-bound to a policy of genocide against Jews and rose to power through a campaign of murder and intimidation - as the legitimate governing authority in Gaza, which, the report's authors irrationally claim, is simultaneously governed by an Israeli occupation four years after Israel withdrew its civilians and military forces from the area. In the UNHRC's parallel universe, Hamas is the only lawful actor in town. Israel - and the Palestinian Authority under Fatah - are guilty of illegally persecuting Hamas by arresting its members.

Hamas, which is working to establish a terrorist Islamic theocracy in Gaza, is not seen as systematically violating human rights and freedom. Israel is. Since it downplayed the 12,000 rockets, mortars and missiles that Hamas and its terror affiliates in Gaza have shelled southern Israel with during the eight years preceding Operation Cast Lead, the Goldstone Commission was unable to understand the overwhelming popularity the operation enjoyed among the Israeli public. Consequently, their report attributed that public support to Israel's abrogation of the civil liberties of the operation's opponents.

In contrast, the Goldstone Report downplays the importance of Hamas's systematic persecution of women, Christians and its political opponents.

And so it goes. For 575 pages, rather than promote the cause of human rights as one would expect from the UN's Human Rights Council, the Goldstone Report promotes a fiction of Israeli criminality and Hamas victimization. That is, it promotes the cause of human rights abusers against human rights defenders.

Many Israelis have expressed disgust with Goldstone, a South African Jew who purports to "love Israel."

This is a reasonable reaction, for Goldstone indeed disgraced himself by leading this commission. But the fact is that the report would have drawn the same conclusions based on the same lies regardless of who led the commission. By its very nature, the UNHRC is incapable of doing anything else. Like the UN itself, it is a body dominated by dictatorships and supported by leftist elites who love them. Its political agenda, of supporting dictatorships on the one hand and attacking Israel on the other, is indistinguishable from that of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

THEN THERE is Iran. Before he flies to New York for his annual visit, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad intends to finish off his political opponents back home.

Friday is Jerusalem Day in Iran. Jerusalem Day is the day the regime organizes mass demonstrations throughout the country calling for Israel's destruction. The regime's democratic opponents, who since the stolen June 12 election have been doggedly maintaining their protests against Ahmadinejad, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the police state they run, are planning to use the day to stage renewed protests. Aware of their intention, Khamenei warned that anyone demonstrating for anything other than Israel's destruction will be severely punished. Reports abound of the regime's plan to use the day to arrest opposition leaders Mir Hossain Mousavi and Mehdi Karoubi, who both ran against Ahmadinejad in June.

Friday would be a good day to arrest them. After all, now that the US has agreed to hold negotiations with Ahmadinejad's representatives next month about whatever Iran would like to discuss, the Americans have lost any residual leverage they still held over Iran. Today it is Ahmadinejad, not the US or the UN Security Council, who sets the agendas and conditions for meetings. And Ahmadinejad can be certain that in light of this, no one will utter a peep if on the eve of his trip to America, he arrests or even murders his chief political opponents.

In the weeks following the election, before the regime began its crackdown and arrested, killed, tortured and raped thousands of its opponents, many of the demonstrators held signs demanding to know where the UN was. Why, they wished to know, was no one at the UN supporting them in their demands for democracy and human rights? Why was there no international community standing at their side as they sought to bring down the most dangerous regime on earth - a regime that has made genocide a strategic goal and is steadily working to acquire the means to commit genocide through nuclear war even as it murders its own people?

And that's the thing of it. The same UN that appoints a new commission to criminalize Israel seemingly on a weekly basis, has been a major facilitator of Iran's nuclear weapons program.

First, for three years, from 2003 until 2005, the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency ignored mountains of evidence that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons and refused to refer the issue to the Security Council. Then, after the IAEA finally referred the issue to it, the Security Council failed to pass anything but the mildest of sanctions against Iran. Worse than doing nothing to prevent Teheran from acquiring nuclear weapons, these Security Council sanctions actually facilitated the Iranian program. While passing ineffective sanctions, the council gave the appearance of addressing the issue and so made it impossible for individual states to convince other states to adopt harsher, and perhaps more effective measures - like for instance cutting off trade with Iran or divesting from companies that trade with Iran - outside the Security Council.

DUE TO the UN's unvarnished belligerence toward it, in recent years a consensus has formed in Israel that there is nothing to be gained from cooperating with this openly and dangerously hostile body. Reflecting this consensus, Israel's leaders, from former prime minister Ehud Olmert to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to President Shimon Peres, are united in their condemnation of the Goldstone Report.

For a time during president George W. Bush's first term in office, the US also recognized that the UN and the UN-based international system is irredeemably corrupt. Bush and his senior advisers spoke of the need to build international coalitions of willing governments to advance the causes of international security, human rights and freedom that the UN and its affiliated bodies are inherently incapable of advancing. Although this policy received public support at home, it provoked fierce opposition among the US foreign policy elites in Washington and in the media and among their allies on the political Left.

Due to their criticism, by his second term in office, Bush agreed to give the UN a leading role in dictating US foreign policy. He subordinated American policy to the Security Council on the issue of Iran's nuclear weapons program and cooperated with the UN as it advanced its openly anti-Israel agenda, even increasing US funding of such anti-Israel groups as UNRWA.

Bush's eventual surrender to the establishment set the course for what under President Barack Obama has become a cornerstone of US foreign policy. Unlike Bush, Obama has enthusiastically embraced the notion that the UN should by rights have a leading role in international affairs. He has also accepted the UN's basic notion that in the interest of world peace, the US and its democratic allies should bow to the desires of despots and dictators.

So it is that this week he abandoned US allies Poland and the Czech Republic in his bid to appease Russia. So it is that his administration has sided with ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya, who, with the support of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, sought to undermine Honduran democracy against Honduras's lawful government and democratic defenders. So it is that the administration has sided with the genocidal mullahs in Teheran over their democratic opponents. So it is that the administration has adopted the view that Israel is to blame for the absence of peace in the Middle East and embraced as legitimate political actors Palestinian terror groups that refuse to accept Israel's right to exist.

Until Obama came along, Israel could afford not to make too much of the fact that its enemies control the UN-led system of international institutions, because it could trust that the US would use its Security Council veto to prevent these forces from causing it any real harm. This is no longer the case. With the Obama administration fully on board the UN agenda, Israel and other threatened democracies like Honduras, Poland, the Czech Republic, South Korea and Japan will have to loudly proclaim the UN-based international system's inherent moral, political and legal corruption and seek ways to undermine and weaken its power.

Fuzzy thinking Christians

Re: God's Fuzzy Clock.pdf
by Bernard Carman
A slightly different light in which to view the controversial issue of God's calendar system through the example of His astronomical clock.

************

Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

There's absolutely no reason for folks to remain "fuzzy" in their thinking when God's Word clearly states the Jews alone have this God-given responsibility to preserve and proclaim the proper holy dates and festivals, specifically the Pharisees/Rabbinic Judaism whom Yahshua endorsed by publicly acknowledging their God-given authority on these matters. Why trespass on this holy ground or attempt to steal this part of the scepter that is to remain with Judah until the return of the King? Why remain in denial rather than let the plain truth set you free?

The Oracles of God
God's empowered the Jews - despite themselves - to preserve His Word. They are the only people on Earth that God has blessed and ordained to fulfill such a calling! God will not retract His Word or renege on this gift and responsibility that He's graciously bestowed upon Judah.

Passover and Pentecost Differences Settled!
The correct dates to observe God's holy days should not be a Church of God issue, having been settled by God thousands of years ago and preserved throughout the ages by faithful Jews.

The Passover Memorial

The Pharisees
Who isn't aware of the sins of the Pharisees? Especially the Accuser of the Brethren? But does that mean the truths they teach, even if they don't live them, are no longer true?
