American Christian-Zionist David Ben-Ariel detained

"This reminds us of the case of the American Christian-Zionist David Ben-Ariel, who was imprisoned for allegedly trying to destroy the Dome of the Rock, to make way for the reconstruction of the Jewish Temple. Ben-Ariel repeatedly declared that he was there only to protest, not to destroy the mosque.

Attorney Naftali Wurtzberger, who defended Federman, also represented David Ben-Ariel during his trial in Israeli High Court and Jerusalem's Municipal Court. Ben-Ariel is now free and back in the United States. Yet, the Israeli government determined that Ben-Ariel cannot visit Israel, although he might be eligible to return in 2005. Why not deport the leaders of terrorist groups who are living, apparently with more rights, in Judea, Samaria and Gaza?"

Jews haven't fulfilled prophecies about Joseph!

Re: The United States is Manasseh

#39. To: Magician (#14)

I've never seen so much BS in my life.

Those who cannot debate, defame; cannot refute, ridicule. The plain truth about the Israelite origins, the Hebrew roots, of the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples is overwhelming, recognized by a growing number of Jews and British Israelites and Gentiles (as prophesied). Brit Am Israel is a Torah-observant, Jerusalem based organization, that helps restore the identification of the Israelite tribes. However, there is nothing new under the sun: Joseph's brethren were blind to his identity and he stood right before them!

Since you go to a Reform "temple" in a self-imposed exile, failing to follow Judaism to the Jewish homeland of Israel - I'm not surprised this BIBLICAL TRUTH floors you. You undoubtedly still assume Judaism is nothing about race, in complete contradiction to the facts on the ground. Regardless if you remain in denial, these things remain true: The Bible is an ethnocentric book with  its focus on the family of Jacob; there are Twelve Tribes of Israel, the Lost Ten Tribes are ethnic peoples, Joseph isn't Jewish, it's the Promised Land of ISRAEL (named after an ethnic, tribal, patriarch) with biblical border definitions (which is why even secular Jews were wise enough to reject Uganda), and Israel and Judah are to ultimately become, collectively speaking, One Nation Under God, a truly United Kingdom.

Certainly NONE of the prophecies about becoming a GREAT NATION and a COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS, world powers, breadbaskets of the world, have been fulfilled in little Judah.

Your faithless kind must be who columnist Shmuel Schnitzer lamented as the new Jewish people who are "preparing to deny our [Jewish] rights, both the divine promise and in terms of REFERRING TO THE LAND BY THE NAME OF ITS PEOPLE, "The Land of Israel' -- a land which belongs to the Children of Israel, from then and to eternity...".

Years ago Mr. Schnitzer questioned, in the Israeli newspaper Maariv, “[W]hat kind of Jewish people will this be with no attachment to its land, without all the places of the book of Joshua, the wonderful vistas there, without the intensity of the prophetic vision, without the heritage of our fighters who spilt their blood for the country which was promised them and their descendants?” (Sept. 14, 1994). (excerpt from Do the Jews Belong in the Land of Israel?)

Ben Ariel was not arrested on political charges...

Due to persistent false rumors that I, David Ben-Ariel, was involved in a plot to blow up the mosques in Jerusalem, even by lying religious leaders like Gerald Flurry of the Philadelphia Church of God (not just enemies of the plain truth of the Bible), I present here the State Department letter from former American Consul General in Jerusalem, Edward G. Abington, Jr. to Ohio Representative Marcy Kaptur. (Jr.'s hostility to the Temple Mount Faithful is explained in Why Edward Abington, Jr. Must Be Investigated! and his dubious character and conflict of interests in Something smells bad).

The Soldier who called for Refusal: I would do it again

Translation of article appearing in Maariv about a soldier, Aryeh Arbus, who called for refusal of order to uproot Jews from the Land of Israel and does not regret it.

http://www.nrg.co.il/online/1/ART2/043/739.html

The Soldier who called for Refusal: I would do it again.

“The banner was a provocation in order to send a message. We need to remove people who change the Army’s mission” - Private Arbus, who waved the banner at the Western Wall, does not regret his actions.

Ro’i Sharon

After Private Aryeh Arbus, who waved a banner against evacuating settlements during an army swearing-in ceremony at the Western Wall, was released from prison, he arrived for a conversation with the commander of the Kfir Brigade, Colonel Oran Avman. At the end of the two hour long conversation, Arbus pointed at the commander’s head.

“Do you know why that is there, and the ranks are placed on your shoulders?” he asked, “because it is important that the head should be above the rank. If your rank is above your head, you are a robot.” Avman informed Arbus that he is dismissed from the brigade, and that he will recommend his dismissal from the IDF.

The outward appearance of Arbus can be deceiving. He has the classic ultra-orthodox black yarmulke, the beard of a young kollel student, tzitzit hanging out of his clothing, and an extremely modest build. But the instant he opens his mouth, it because clear that he is not a robot in reserve duty. During basic training, he was a candidate to be selected as an outstanding soldier for his base. In his unit, he achieved the prestigious position of signal operator for the platoon commander, and in the professional opinion that his commander sent after the banner waving, it is written that he is a leading professional soldier. He is fluent, focused, and adopts clear statements.

“There are senior officers in the army with a problem in their outlook, therefore a soldier like me confuses them”, Arbus said to his family. “An outstanding soldier who challenges them with thinking out of the boundaries represents for them a problem. Soldiers with values are good soldiers, but they have values. The mixture between excellence and waving the banner drove the brigade commander crazy.”

“Waving the banner was a provocation”, he admits in conversations with his friends. “Waving the banner was meant to send a message. It hurts me that I would need to make a provocation instead of sending a message in a direct way, but they have pushed us to a corner, and it is better that a person commits a minor transgression and not commit a severe transgression. From that perspective, I am not sorry. I am sorry that we would not to break the laws of military discipline in order to say something which is so logical, human, and Jewish.”

He left the Chassidic Yeshiva to help the Samarian Hills

After he was dismissed from Kfir Brigade, Arbus was summoned to an incompatibility committee, made up of senior officers in the manpower system of the IDF. “They asked me there hypothetical questions”, he said to his friends. “’What would you do tomorrow if they would say to you were assigned to distribute snacks to forces which are evacuating Jews?’ I said to them that it would be hard for me to answer hypothetical questions and that I would need to think. They got mad at me. I said to them that a Jewish soldier is a thinking soldier. They said to me ‘No, a Jewish soldier is a soldier that carries out orders’, and they informed me that they would recommend releasing me from the army.”

It is the norm in the IDF that they judge a soldier after he committed a crime. But the very fact that they ask a soldier in the IDF if he would refuse an order, that is a precedent which says that the army has changed its role from defending Jews to something else. Perhaps now they will ask all IDF soldiers this question? We need to remove the people that change the role of the army, not those that preserve its role.

“There are a range of orders that fit the army. They cannot take soldiers to disperse a student demonstration or Flotilla 13 to gather illegal workers, because that is not their role. I know from the fact that the government decides for the army, but the army has a role which has boundaries, and evacuation of Jews is outside of this boundary. Any act of the army against citizens is that of a third world country. Against Israeli Arabs, the Border Patrol acts, against Jewish citizens they don’t know to do that?”

Private Aryeh Arbus, #6105973, grew up in an ultra-orthodox household in Jerusalem, tenth generation of a Gur Chassidic family. His mother is a psychologist, and his father is a businessman. Eleven siblings, all still in the ultra-orthodox world. A bit before age 18, he left the Chassidic Yeshiva, and began to hand out in the Samarian hills.

“The Army doesn’t suit you”

Today, he lives in Giv’at Skali in Elon Moreh, married to Ruhama, and father to the three month old Reishit. He has foregone the woolen yarmulke of the hilltop youth. “I have never been too excited about external symbols, this yarmulke or another,” he said to his friends. “Exactly the opposite. When I was a boy with a suit and hat, I went around in sandals. People were confused. I love showing people conflicting things, that they will think you are “gross” or you are “evil”, and after two minutes, they will think something else altogether.”

Like many of his hilltop friends, Arbus felt frustrated by the IDF’s implementation of the Disengagement Plan. He said to the soldier at the Draft Office “I want to enlist, but I will not take a part in political assignments”. A year ago, he thought about his military service again. “Because the values situation of the army, I was
uncertain about enlisting”, he said to his associates.

“I decided to enlist for two reasons. The first and decisive one was due to the declaration of Chief of Staff Ashkenazi who announced upon assuming his office that the army would not take part in political assignments. The second reason was Operation ‘Cast Lead’. At that time, I had a rising of spirit, a desire to protect the lives of soldiers. I arrived at the conclusion that the army doesn’t belong to generals, but to the nation.”

His family recommended not enlisting. His friends joined them. “The Army doesn’t suit you”, they tried to convince him. Today, they say to him “see, we were right”, but Arbus doesn’t have regrets. “I still think that they are wrong. I don’t go with the herd. They are mad that I enlisted, but I decided to be a simple Jew, what is good - we assist, and what is bad we distance ourselves. The problem is that there are people that are pulling the army to the wrong place, to a place of disagreement.”

Damage to Mutual Responsibility

After the committee’s recommendation, Arbus sent a letter to the commander of the Absorption and Classification Base, Colonel Gadi Agmon, in which he objected to the recommendation to release him from the army. “It pains me that we have been forced, my friends and I, to act in a few instances in this manner, which is in conflict with army principles and harms IDF discipline”, he wrote. “This action came from a feeling of being pushed toa corner and from a lack of choice, and a fear from an order which would obligate me to expel my wife and daughter and friends and family from their homes. Is there not a place for everyone, my hurting friends and I, a place in the nation’s army whose job is the security of the nation of Israel in its land?”

Arbus wrote further: “Is it possible that the IDF will act as it did with me in the incompatibility commission and require soldiers to answer how they would act in a hypothetical situation, like an order that has yet to be given and stands on the thin line between conscious and his obligations as a soldier? If so, why doesn’t the IDF go out with a questionnaire of all soldiers, or at least the soldiers which come from frameworks which don’t outright reject refusal of orders which are against their religion and faith, and disqualify ahead of time from their obligation to defend Israel and its land?”

For the conclusion of his objection letter, he wrote that “a process such as that of my release from the IDF, will harm the integration and the mutual responsibility between the different parts of the nation of Israel, who meet in the IDF and see it as the nation’s army, which gives every Jew the opportunity to protect and defend and to help continue the existence of the nation of Israel in the Land of Israel.

“Even Leftists have joined our protest”

Arbus was sent to serve in the adjutancy department of the Bik’ah Brigade, and on Wednesday, the deputy brigade commander informed him that the final decision had been made to release him from army service. On Sunday he will go to the induction center, where he will return his equipment and be released.

This week, Arbus reconstructed, in conversations with his friends, the decision to wave the banner at the Western Wall, the decision which sent him for 20 days incarceration in Prison Six, and his removal from army service. “Preceding it were developments and small protests within the company, which were silenced by the officers”, he said to them. “The idea for the banner was born in a brainstorm discussion with friends in the company, and we came to the conclusion that this is the right thing to do. We tried, but there was no other choice. It pains me, but I do not regret it. If I could pass on the message in a way that would follow army laws, I would be happy, but there was no possibility.”

“We had a feeling that this disciplinary crime was dwarfed by the human crime being committed here. If it was possible to turn back the clock, I would do it again just the same. I am confident that in the long run, I brought a great benefit to the IDF, and everyone will understand that. Not in waving the banner, but in the message. I didn’t know that in the IDF document it is written that the role of the army is to evict Jews. If this were the task of the army, then we would politely part ways.”

“I want to remain in the army in order to defend the nation of Israel and its land. If they would not bring me to the situation of a political assignment, then I don’t have a problem. I, after all, did not refuse any order, but in the moment that the army takes my assigned battalion on an evacuation assignment, that is called bringing me to an impossible situation. It pains me.”

The protest act, he says to his associates, won the support from all sides of the political map. “Even Leftists joined our protest, because from their perspective this is an individual within the army, and also other people expressed their support with reservations. I don’t have a problem that they condemned it from the Right. That is great. That is how the Arab Israelis work. One breaks to the right, and then afterwards the rest line up behind. I am ahead of everyone else. If they want that I will have the role of the extremist, I will be in the role of the extremist. We need to challenge the public.”

Making Honor

Arbus paved the way for placard scenes in Kfir Brigade, but according to him, it is time to update the protest methods. The banners have been exhausted, he believes. “Another banner won’t do anything. The Brigade Commander asked me during the interview after jail which other ideas I had in my head. I responded ‘I compartmentalize you.’”

Arbus remembers his army service from the moment of the protest at the Western Wall as a positive experience. “They honor me every place in the army”, he tells his friends, “in jail they called me ‘armed’, they would let me go first in to the cafeteria. They made me a hero. Even on other bases where I was it was the same. You do not know how wide the consensus is in the army on this matter.

Unlike Achiya Ovadya, from the same platoon, who was dismissed from the brigade and from the Hesder track, but remained in the army, Arbus understood already from the beginning of the week that he was on the way out. “They made me a non-commissioned adjutancy officer in the Bik’ah Brigade, and I have no problem with that. Even an adjutant contributes to the defense of the nation of Israel. I am not prepared to see them punish a soldier because he informs them that he will not act against his conscious. But to punish a soldier twice on the same crime, that is already illegal.”

“I have no idea why they kicked me out of the army, and other soldiers with much more serious disciplinary problems went back to their units after their incarceration. I feel hurt. My enlistment to the army, in spite of my background, helped bring unify the rifts between the different sectors in the nation of Israel and the IDF. And today when they throw me out, I can’t look my family in the eyes after I said ‘they want us to help, to defend, to protect we need to enlist together with everyone else’. And see today they kick me like a dog.”

The United States is Manasseh

The United States is Manasseh
by Herbert W. Armstrong
From the prophetic blessings passed on by the dying Jacob, it is apparent that Ephraim and Manasseh were in a large measure to inherit the birthright jointly; to remain together for a long time, finally separating.

In Genesis 48 Jacob first passed the birthright on to the two sons of Joseph jointly, speaking of them both together. Then, finally, he spoke of them separately—Manasseh was to become the single great nation; Ephraim, the company of nations.

And in his prophecy for these latter days Jacob said, “Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall” (Gen. 49:22). In other words, Joseph—Ephraim and Manasseh jointly and together—was to be a colonizing people in this latter day, their colonies branching out from the British Isles around the earth.

Together Ephraim and Manasseh grew into a multitude, then separated, according to Jacob’s prophetic blessing of Genesis 48. Our people have fulfilled this prophecy.

But how can the U.S.A. be Manasseh when a large part of the population have come from many nations besides England? The answer is this: A large part of Manasseh remained with Ephraim until the separation of New England. But our forefathers were to be sifted through many nations, as corn through a sieve, yet not a grain to fall to the earth or be lost (Amos 9:9). The people did filter through many nations. Ephraim and much of Manasseh finally emigrated to England together, but many others of Manasseh who had filtered into and through other nations did not leave them until they came, as immigrants, to the United States after the New England colony had become the separate nation. This does not mean that all foreigners who have emigrated to America are of the stock of Manasseh, but undoubtedly many are. Israel, however, always did absorb gentiles, who became Israelites through living in Israel’s land and intermarrying.

The U.S. has become known as the “melting pot” of the world. Instead of refuting a Manasseh ancestry, this fact actually confirms it. The proof that the U.S. is Manasseh is overwhelming. Manasseh was to separate from Ephraim and become the greatest, wealthiest single nation of earth’s history. America alone has fulfilled this prophecy. Manasseh was in fact a thirteenth tribe. There were twelve original tribes. Joseph was one of these twelve. But when Joseph divided into two tribes and Manasseh separated into an independent nation, it became a thirteenth tribe

Could it be mere coincidence that it started, as a nation, with thirteen colonies?

But what about the other tribes of the so-called Lost Ten Tribes? While the birthright was Joseph’s, and its blessings have come to the British Commonwealth of nations and the United States of America, yet the other eight tribes of Israel were also God’s chosen people. They, too, have been blessed with a good measure of material prosperity—but not the dominance of the birthright.

We lack space for a detailed explanation of the specific identity of all of these other tribes in the nations of our twentieth century. Suffice it to say here that there is ample evidence that these other eight tribes have descended into such northwestern European nations as Holland, Belgium, Denmark, northern France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway. The people of Iceland are also of Viking stock. The political boundaries of Europe, as they exist today, do not necessarily show lines of division between descendants of these original tribes of Israel.

Pork isn't good for you!

Re: Argentine president: Eat pork, spice your sex life

#6. To: beyond the sea (#0)

Argentines are among the world's biggest consumers of red meat, and most people here stubbornly reject the idea of replacing beef with chicken, pork or other meats. Despite Argentina lying along rich South Atlantic fisheries, seafood is rarely seen on dinner tables.

I didn't realize how much beef Argentina produces until I lived in Israel and worked as a volunteer for various kibbutzim (see God-given love for the Jews) in the kitchen (among elsewhere) and saw it stamped on the boxes. Being American, I thought most beef was from our beloved country. Maybe it is, haven't really checked it out.

Our Great Creator God blesses beef, chicken and certain seafood, so Bible-believing Christians and Jews should stubbornly reject any promotion of pork or other unclean foods that definitely aren't good for you, despite what serpents pimp.

Jesus Upheld the Biblical Dietary Laws
Unclean traditional Christianity has misled many with their lack of understanding of the Bible as a whole. They often take Scriptures out of context and totally twist their meanings, like they do when it comes to abusing Matthew 15 and slaughtering it to teach we can now eat anything.

Unclean Christianity vs. Peter's Vision
Unclean traditional Christianity teaches the religious lie that Jesus "did away with" the dietary laws, sinning against both God and man (1 John 2:4; Matt 5:17-20).

Is All Animal Flesh Good Food?
Were all animals made clean? What about the unclean animals shown to Peter in a vision? Here is a straightforward Bible answer, giving the New Testament teaching. This subject is important to your health and well-being!

D.C. court case demands Obama explain eligibility

Contends president's allegiance is to Britain, Kenya, Indonesia

January 29, 2010

By Bob Unruh
© 2010 WorldNetDaily

A prominent attorney who has shepherded a number of high-profile legal cases challenging Barack Obama'seligibility to be president has brought a "Quo Warranto" case to district court in Washington, D.C., alleging his allegiances have included Britain, Kenya and Indonesia.

A Quo Warranto action, first recorded some 800 years ago, essentially is a demand to know by what authority a public figure is acting. The case, brought by California attorney Orly Taitz on behalf of herself, was assigned to Chief Judge Royce Lamberth.

Taitz told WND that in a separate action she has filed a notice of appeal with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals of the dismissal of a case she brought on behalf of Ambassador Alan Keyes and dozens of other individuals in California challenging Obama's eligibility...

Her filing in Washington asks:

What is Respondent Obama's standard and burden of proof of his birthplace under Quo Warranto and ethical duties? – Considering Obama's first cousin Raila Odinga, Prime Minister of Kenya, sealed alleged records of Obama's birth in Mombasa; while the state of Hawaii holds Obama's 'original' sealed birth records, allows registration of births out of state, allows registration based on a statement of one relative only without any corroborating evidence and seals original birth records.

Does the state of Hawaii's withholding Respondent Obama's original birth records by privacy laws breach the U.S. Constitution by obstructing [people who want to] challenge, validate and evaluate qualifications of presidential candidates based on legally acceptable … records.

Does the restrictive qualification for president of 'natural born citizen' over 'citizen' include allegiance to the U.S.A. from birth without any foreign allegiance, as required of the commander in chief in time of war to preserve the Republic, including birth within the jurisdiction of the U.S.A. to parents who both had U.S. citizenship at that birth, and having retained that undivided loyalty?

Does birth to or adoption by a non-citizen father or mother incur foreign allegiance sufficient to negate being a 'natural born citizen' and disqualify a candidate from becoming president?
Other questions relate to a candidate's responsibility to provide documentation of their qualifications under the Constitution's requirements...

President usurper Obama/Soetoro/Obama, regardless of his proud and stubborn refusal to be transparent (as promised - no change there), paying expensive lawyers hush money to keep his revealing documents in the dark, is not a natural born citizen of two American parents and is therefore not eligible to be POTUS according to the Constitution. It's past time the fraud and foreigner is brought to justice! Emperor Obama has got to go!

Christian Zionists

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel

For the record, I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all Twelve Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it).

I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God (who believe the plain truth of the Bible that Herbert W. Armstrong taught).

It grieves me when I'm on various Jewish sites, pro-Israel sites, and some vainly try and pigeonhole my calls for Jews to follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland to become better Jews and falsely accuse me of only "wanting Jews to die so Jesus can return." Nothing could be further from the truth! (Away with stereotypes! Are all Jews rich or liberal?). I share what Judaism teaches about aliyah (ascent, emigration to Eretz Yisrael - the Land of Israel). Did the Ramban want Jews to return to Zion and die so Jesus could return? Preposterous, eh? Indeed.

I also do not fall for the rapture myth, as some allege, striving to substantiate their theories as to why I have such a great love for Jews and Israel, failing to grasp that I truly believe in the Israelite origins of the West, especially the revelation of Joseph as the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples, as taught by Brit Am Israel and others, and am convinced the Jews are the ethnic brethren of British-Israelites (contrary to those groups who reject the Jews as illegitimate), and that the Land of Israel is also our ancient and future inheritance.

This precious knowledge and love for klal Yisrael (all Israel, collective 12 Tribes) is my God-given motivation and why I yearn to return to Zion and stay attached to it while in exile (due to an unjust deportation I've suffered for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount under illegal Nazi-Muslim occupation).

The Bible clearly teaches, recognized by both Jews and Christians, that the Jews would again be living in the Promised Land of Israel in preparation for the coming of King Messiah. Judaism teaches it "hastens the day of redemption" and Christians say "amen." We can agree on that point and permit time to tell who fulfills the prophecies completely, as all will be revealed and Israel and Judah will be reunited, reconciled, and Jerusalem saved from Gentile occupation.

The Jews also believe that Elijah will herald the coming of the King to fulfill the Prophets and teach Torah, and Christians know the chief spokesman between the Two Witnesses will announce -- in the spirit of Elijah (who is dead and buried) -- the Kingdom of God.

I want Jews to return to Eretz Yisrael because it is loving obedience to God, as well as Israel's future construction of the Third Temple, the Temple of God (not just of the Jews as some slander) even though Israel must be warned not to trust Europe's lying guarantees of peace and security or their imminent Antiochus Epiphanes who will betray Israel and occupy Jerusalem and pollute the Temple of God, if they're not careful to hear and heed the Prophets.

Despite unwarranted hatred from some hypocritical Jews who treat all Christians shamefully, failing to distinguish between those who are honest friends of Jews and Israel and those who aren't, I want to express unconditional love to help save Jews from physical and spiritual harm.

I want Jews to live and prosper and love and obey God and be blessed rather than to continue to suffer escalating divine punishments for sin that will only intensify (Dan. 9:11). I hope to help avert another holocaust, one that will target the British-Israelites (the Lost Ten Tribes) and Jews, ignited by the German-dominated EU under Roman Catholic influence.

May all Twelve Tribes of Israel remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities, turn from our national idolatry and immorality (2 Chron. 7:14), and be restored to world power and prosperity and ascend even greater heights of glory as a truly United Kingdom, One Nation Under God.

MRS ANNA HOOVER FOUND DEAD IN HOME
Mrs. Anna E. Hoover, 89 years, mother of R. D. Hoover, and lifelong resident of Montgomery Township, was found dead at her home two miles west and one mile north of Risingsun, Wednesday morning. It is thought death was due to heart trouble and indigestion. The opinion is she had entered the house from her chore work; Tuesday evening, and sat down in a chair, when she fell to the floor where she was found, indicating death had come early Tuesday evening. Three children survive, R. D. Hoover, John Hoover, and Mrs. Sarah Hunt.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at the U. B. church.

The most annoying part of listening to a speech by the narcissist-in-chief is the number of times he refers to himself.

"I've got a very short commute;" "I can't always visit people directly;" "I break out;" "I saw;" "I knew it would be unpopular;" "I ran for this office;" "I had no illusions;" "I had a whole bunch of political advisors…"

The latest State of the Union is no exception. Maybe because his world is so centered on the bubble that surrounds himself, he is incapable of understanding the frustration Americans have about his plans to remake the country.

Clearly, he is not hearing the message to back off. Instead, he is doubling down. Calling with renewed vigor for a litany of unpopular policies, he declared in a condescending tone, "I don't quit."

Obama spent an inane amount of time talking about job creation. His problem is, he doesn’t understand how jobs are created. His left-wing fantasies on how to create jobs have had the opposite impact. For example; his plan to sock banks with new taxes as they struggle to recover. He’s just like a boxer trying to punch the last knock-down blow.

He repeatedly called for a second stimulus bill while we are still reaping the harvest of his first misguided stimulus plan. Then he urged congress to pass the entire litany of failed regulatory and tax bills that will finish off the feeble recovery and increase unemployment well beyond 20 percent. He renewed his call for Obamacare, which guts Medicare, will increase insurance premiums, and soak the country with higher taxes.

"Change has not come fast enough," Obama exclaimed. "As hard as it may be, as uncomfortable and contentious as the debates may be, it's time to get serious..." Maybe you haven’t been serious, Mr. Obama, but we are, and have been serious for a long time. The changes you seek divide Americans and hurt the prospects for our and our children’s futures.

In defense and foreign policy, Obama's big new initiative to make us safer is a plan to transform the military into a sexual diversity seminar. He plans to force the armed services to embrace "LGBT" (lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender) soldiers. To do this, Congress will have to pass a controversial bill.

The policy change would be a disaster for America’s fighting force, as the Center for Military Readiness reports: "Members of Congress are becoming aware that repeal of the 1993 law stating that homosexuals are not eligible for military service, usually mislabeled 'Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,' would undermine recruiting, retention, and readiness in our military. More than 1,160 retired Flag & General Officers for the Military have personally signed a statement supporting the 1993 law (Section 654, Title 10), and expressing concerns about consequences of repeal that would 'break the All-Volunteer Force.'"

Another big lie Obama told was, "To close that credibility gap we must take action on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue to end the outsized influence of lobbyists; to do our work openly; and to give our people the government they deserve. That's what I came to Washington to do. That's why - for the first time in history - my Administration posts our White House visitors online. And that's why we've excluded lobbyists from policy-making jobs or seats on federal boards and commissions." How he could say this with a straight face shows the audacity of his deceit. Obama’s administration is riddled with lobbyists.

Oh and how could we forget? He is now a born again fighter against big government and over spending.

I only agreed with one statement in the speech. This is when Obama said: "We face a deficit of trust." That’s right Mr. Obama. We face a deficit of trust, and you and the people surrounding you are the ones we don’t believe.

Yours truly,

Floyd Brown

"I will sing to HaShhem"

(Exodus 15:1)
Shevat 12, 5770/January 27, 2010

We know that on the eve of the Israelites' great escape across the Sea of Reeds, G-d caused a "strong east wind [to blow] all night long." (Exodus 14:21) We aren't told what the weather was the following morning as the children of Israel walked across the sea on dry ground, but it is safe to speculate that the day was spectacularly clear. For we are told by our sages that all of the children of Israel, from the mightiest to the lowliest, saw further than even the greatest of their future prophets ever would. In fact, they saw clear from this world into the next.

Pointing to a curious grammatical turn of phrase in the Hebrew words, "az yashir - and then sang Moses and the children of Israel," (ibid 15:1) which is more accurately translated as, "and then Moses and the children of Israel will sing," our sages teach us that the Song of the Sea was sung not only at the time of the crossing of the sea, but will be sung again by Moses and the children of Israel in the future, at the time of the resurrection of the dead. What was so unique about this moment in our history that the nascent nation of Israel was afforded so powerful a one-time glimpse into the future?

Ostensibly, the revelation at Sinai, still six weeks away at the time of the crossing of the Sea of Reeds, is the moment of greatest revelation for the children of Israel, for it was there that Israel received Torah. But something even more monumental took place at the Sea of Reeds. The great miracles that G-d wrought in Egypt, the ten plagues, all were directed toward Pharaoh and Egypt. G-d Himself explains that their purpose is to make known His name to Egypt, and by extension, to the world. (ibid 7:5) The plagues were intended to make perfectly clear to Pharaoh Who was in charge in this world, and that it wasn't Pharaoh. G-d was not ready to take Israel out of Egypt until this message was irrevocably delivered.

But when G-d split open the Sea of Reeds it was the very first time that He performed such a miracle only for the benefit of His people, the children of Israel. The time of chastening the nations was over, and this was G-d's first revelation of His new intimate relationship with Israel. The splitting of the Sea was an expression of G-d's pure and endless love for His people. And for the Israelites, this was the first intimation of G-d as loving Redeemer, that was first announced by G-d when He told Moses, "I appeared to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaakov with [the name] Almighty G-d, but [with] My name HaShem, I did not become known to them." (ibid 6:3)

The children of Israel responded to G-d's fulfillment of His Divine promise with complete and perfect emunah - faith in Him. And this faith they expressed in the soaring words of the Song of the Sea, "I will sing to HaShem, for very exalted is He; a horse and its rider He cast into the sea... " (ibid 15:1) Their great rush of faith cast aside, not only the waters of the Sea of Reeds, but all the illusions and limitations inherent in this world. Thus the vision of the resurrection of the dead, G-d's ultimate reversal of man's mortality.

This, then, is the splendid future the Israelites saw in the world to come. But what vision did their perfect faith afford them for this world? The answer to that is also found in the words of the Song of the Sea:

"You shall bring them and plant them on the mount of Your heritage, directed toward Your habitation, which You made, O L-rd; the sanctuary, O L-rd, [which] Your hands founded." (ibid 15:17)

In this moment of prophetic clarity, in this instant of perfect intimacy with G-d, the children of Israel also saw and understood for the first time the purpose of their miraculous exodus from Egypt, and their final intended destination, after all their future peregrinations in the desert and in the harsh exiles that were to follow, this being the building of the Holy Temple on G-d's holy mountain in Jerusalem. For it is there, in the Holy Temple, and in the performance of the Divine service, that the moment first experienced at the Sea of Reeds, the timeless moment of Divine love and intimacy and perfect faith, in which the promise of the world to come and the promise of this world are glimpsed, is made a living reality.

Temple TalkTune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the current Torah reading of Beshalach, and the crossing of the Sea of Reeds: What about the casket of Yosef caused the sea to turn back the tide and open a path for the Israelites? What vision did they achieve while crossing over to the other side? What can the miraculous manna that fell from heaven teach us about our daily requirements for life? The answer to all these questions and a happy Tu b'Shevat to all!

Today also features the new Light to the Nations teaching by Rabbi Chaim Richman, entitled, "The Priestly Garments - Part I: What the Priests Wore: Each detail of the priestly garments has a unique spiritual task, and forms part of an entire outfit which is designed to represent all of Israel before G-d." RenewalEach Hebrew month conveys its own unique message. The theme of this month of Shevat is the concept of renewal and rebirth. The process of rebirth is inherent in the very essence of this month. It reaches its crescendo on the 15th day of the month, when we celebrate the holiday of Tu B'Shevat (lit., "the fifteenth of Shevat," occuring this year on Shabbat, January 30th). This day, called "The New Year of Trees," conveys an uplifting idea: our sages teach that on this day, a unique wave of Divine energy flows through all of creation, a forerunner of the restoration, rejuvenation and rebirth of spring. Deep within the natural world, the vital force of life begins to rise up, within each tree, within each blade of grass, preparing for renewal. Parashat HashavuaThe Israelites encounter with the deadly Amalek clearly shows the danger when our faith in G-d weakens. But faith in G-d is not enough. Even the wicked can be men of faith. Click here to view Rabbi Richman's short teaching on parashat Beshalach (Exodus 13:17 – 17:16).

Warnings about Hitler ignored

Re: Why the Holocaust?

The Jews are only a small but important part of the big family of Jacob-Israel. There are Twelve Tribes of Israel. Hitler's Burnt Offering of Jews (Holocaust/Shoah), after they had been warned by secular and religious alike, by Hitler's own words and the words of the Law and the Prophets, is only a type of the imminent nuclear holocaust that will strike the American, British and Jewish peoples.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE RABBIS?

Death to the American, British & Jewish peoples?

British-Israelites and Jews in Grave Danger

EU to Conquer Anglo-Saxons and Jews

Eli Wiesel is a hypocrite! He can play the smug atheist all he pleases, wring his hands and seek the sympathy of the world that doesn't give a damn, but he - like most Jews - have miserably failed to learn the lessons of Hitler's War against the Jews: there's no lasting place for Jews in the Exile, that such a self-imposed exile will lead to self-destruction (in one way or another), that you must take your enemies at their word, not your wishful thinking (like the delusional "peace" process), and it's necessary to return to the Torah of God and Land of Israel.

Jews Don't Follow Judaism

A Jewish Homeland

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel

The Jews are permitting the pagan pope - a Babylonian envoy, a modern day Balaam - to pollute the Holy Land of Israel while the bloody Vatican holds the Temple treasures and Judaica hostage! The Israelis are inviting the German fox into the chicken coop!

The Vatican's hateful stance against Jews and Israel is well known, and yet Jewish sheeple are downplaying or ignoring it to their own peril! Others, like the "indefatigable subversive" Shimon Peres, actively collaborate with the Antiochus Epiphanes of the European Union and will soon see all Israel suffer a brutal betrayal when the German-Jesuit jackboot stomps Jerusalem!

Israel must reject Vatican overtures for peace or lose Jerusalem!

The Vatican plot against Jerusalem exposed!

Pope's Evil Eye on Jerusalem!

Beyond Babylon warns: Beware Roman wolves in sheep's clothing! Europe's New Crusade has its evil eye on Mount Zion and is after the Temple Mount. But they won't listen any more than Joes (descendants of Joseph, the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples), especially the Christian reprobates, since we're a nation of drunks and whores who have been warned to shape up or get shipped out!

Even though Israel and Judah (the British-Israelites and Jews) will soon suffer the worst time in history, the Time of Jacob's Trouble, the Great Tribulation - having failed to take our God-given warning seriously - Two Witnesses in Jerusalem will offer hope and comfort to our captive audience and prepare us to meet our King.

For Zion's sake,
David Ben-Ariel

New Homestead Act?

What part of the Promised Land of ISRAEL don't some get? It does not say "Palestine" for the holy land in the prophecies, it does not refer to the Promised Land of Ishmael - it clearly calls for and supports the Promised Land of Israel. Intelligent people start with this strong biblical basis and foundation while others build their vain beliefs upon sand, failing to submit to the Will and Word of God, and suffering the consequences as perpetual losers.

It is the hateful, murderous and covetous Arabs who steal and occupy too much of the Jewish Homeland. Remember the Promised Land of Israel includes GREATER ISRAEL (Eretz Yisrael HaShlema), much of which presently lies under a sea of Arabs, waiting to be reclaimed and liberated from Arab occupation. The sooner Israel evicts the Arab squatters, removes the Nazi-Muslim threat such sworn enemies present, and the sooner the US realizes the terrorist Arab regimes are not our friends, and acts accordingly, wholeheartedly supporting Israel's expulsion of Arabs (not Jewish pioneers and faithful settlers] - THE BETTER.

"We The People" (Israel and Judah) could also agree to some new Homestead Act where those Jews and British-Israelites - White Israelites - who so desire, whose spirit our Great Creator inspires as He did our forefathers (Israel in the Isles), can receive worthy incentives to settle our biblical inheritance that will have been cleared for them of wild beasts, peace through strength, to take root and grow and prosper in our Holy Land of ISRAEL, bearing fruit that glorifies God and blesses the entire world.

When Yeshua returns and reigns as the King of the Jews, He will see to this complete defeat and relocation of the enemies of God and Israel if we've failed to do as Moses commands. Rest assured!

THEY MUST GO
It is imperative that there begins, today, a campaign among world Jewry to explain the full extent of the Arab hatred and danger. The complete truth must be told to the masses of good Jews both to justify the need to remove the Arabs and to expose the dangers of the liberal Establishment bloc.

Peace Now: Arabs and Jews Must Go Their Separate Ways
Genesis 15: 18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants [through Isaac] I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates: 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

Holocaust Hypocrisy

Holocaust Hypocrisy
January 31, 2008 | Brad Macdonald
Anti-Semitism destroyed 6 million Jews in World War II. Today, a subtler yet similarly dangerous anti-Semitism pervades the international community and threatens to end the Jewish state.

On Sunday, Western governments and institutions around the world held ceremonies to honor the memories of the 6 million Jews massacred during World War ii. International Holocaust Remembrance Day—January 27, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest of the Nazi death camps—was created by the United Nations in 2005 as a yearly reminder of the Holocaust in an effort to ensure it never happens again.

Despising Hitler’s form of anti-Semitism is not difficult. It killed 6 million Jews. But centuries of history show that hatred for the Jews manifests itself in various shapes and shades. Anti-Semitism is arguably humanity’s ugliest, most persistent ideological wart.
Anti-Semitism is cyclical. It starts out small and unnoticeable; untouched, it grows, and as it does it takes on a distinct form and shape. When it becomes large, noticeable or painful, the host takes action and cuts it down to size. Down but not out; it does not disappear—it merely goes underground. And after a while, it begins to reemerge. And though it may look different—mutated, or darker, or shaped differently—it is the same old ugly, painful wart.

Venerating the Jewish victims of the Holocaust is an important and worthy gesture. But for world governments and the international media to solemnly condemn Hitler’s anti-Semitism, yet at the same time actively, to one degree or another, condone, even promote, the demise of Jewish statehood is to resurrect the same anti-Semitic wart.

It’s also rank hypocrisy.

Sixty-three years have passed since Hitler attempted to destroy the Jews as a race: Today that same anti-Semitic spirit is being directed, subtly, at the Jewish state. “What anti-Semitism once did to Jews as people, it now does to Jews as a people. First it wanted the Jewish religion, and then the Jews themselves, to disappear; now it wants the Jewish state to disappear,” wrote Melanie Phillips (City Journal, Autumn 2007; emphasis mine throughout).

Same wart, different mutation. And it’s making a mockery of the international community: Despite the tears, the pious speeches honoring the dead, promising the Holocaust will never be repeated and condemning Nazi Germany, the reality is that the international community, by diluting its support for Israel and throwing its weight behind the enemies of Israel, is condoning the systematic obliteration of the Jewish state.

Take the UN, for example. Beneath its goodly platitudes and rare and often benign bouts of pro-Israel rhetoric such as UN Resolution 60/7 (International Holocaust Remembrance Day) sits a long and sordid legacy of anti-Semitism, intolerance for Israeli actions, and inequality against the Jewish people and state.

For decades, and by its own admittance, the UN has consistently marginalized and persecuted Israel, while at the same time aiding and abetting the actions, often illegal, of Israel’s enemies, especially the Palestinians. Over a period of 40 years, 30 percent of resolutions condemning specific states adopted by the UN Human Rights Commission were directed against Israel. In 2006-07, all of the Human Rights Council’s condemnatory resolutions passed were against Israel.

In 2001, the UN sponsored the World Conference Against Racism (WCAR), in Durban, South Africa. “Far from a forum promoting tolerance among peoples and nations,” reported the National Post, “WCAR became a festival for hateful screeds against Israel and the West by some of the most repressive regimes in the world, cheered on by NGOs from Europe and North America” (January 25).
Now the UN is planning the second WCAR for 2009, and reports from planning meetings suggest Durban II “will be worse than the first” (ibid.).

Fact is, UN leaders can decry rampant global anti-Semitism, pass a token resolution encouraging member states to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust and conduct conferences which on the surface appear to be designed to combat global racism, but as long as this organization maintains an obvious agenda of marginalizing Israel while abetting and legitimizing the actions of Israel’s enemies, it will remain one of the world’s foremost bastions of hypocrisy.

The same goes for Europe, the historical fountainhead of anti-Semitism. For many years after World War II, it remained publicly circumspect in its treatment of Jews. But that time is over. Europeans today, despite the yearly memorial ceremonies and commensurate tears, speak openly about the diminishing sense of Holocaust remorse. Surveys conducted in June and September of 2002 by the Anti-Defamation League showed that 58 percent of Germans, 57 percent of Spaniards, 56 percent of Austrians and 52 percent of Swiss believe “Jews still talk too much about the Holocaust.”

“Europe is reawakening its old demons, but today there is a difference,” reported British parliamentarian Denis MacShane last September. “The old anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism have morphed into something more dangerous. Anti-Semitism today is officially sanctioned state ideology and is being turned into a mobilizing and organizing force to recruit thousands in a new crusade—the word is chosen deliberately—to eradicate Jewishness from the region whence it came and to weaken and undermine all the humanist values of rule of law, tolerance and respect for core rights such as free expression that Jews have fought for over time” (Washington Post, Sept. 4, 2007).

Same wart, new mutation.

One poll, conducted by the University of Bielefeld in 2004, showed that 51 percent of German respondents agreed with the statement, “What the State of Israel does today to the Palestinians is in principle not different from what the Nazis did in the Third Reich to the Jews.” In the Arab world, the portrayal of Israelis and Jews as modern-day Nazis is part of the everyday repertoire of anti-Semitic lies.
Now this insidious form of anti-Semitism, which Manfred Gerstenfeld labeled “Holocaust inversion” in the Wall Street Journal this week, has become worryingly popular in the West.

This distortion of history is particularly widespread in the Muslim world. But it is also gaining currency in the West, where it is no longer just the domain of the extreme left. Last year, a German bishop visiting Israel compared Ramallah to the Warsaw Ghetto. Portuguese Nobel laureate for literature José Saramago in 2002 compared Ramallah even to Auschwitz. …

Portraying Jews as Nazis, Israeli prime ministers as Hitler and the Star of David as equal to the swastika is almost routine in the Arab world. This trend has also reached Europe, where during the anti-Iraq war protests, for instance, many demonstrators held placards depicting similar images. In the Netherlands you can now buy T-shirts and greeting cards showing Anne Frank wearing a kaffiyeh, the traditional Palestinian headdress, wrapped around her neck like a scarf. In other words, the Palestinians are the new Jews, which makes the Israelis the new Nazis.

Political cartoons have emerged as malign vehicles of anti-Jewish sentiment. Gerstenfeld continues:

Holocaust-inversion caricatures appear also occasionally in Western mainstream papers. In July 2006, the Norwegian daily Dagbladet carried a drawing showing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as SS Major Amon Göth, the commander of a Nazi death camp depicted in Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List. A 2002 cartoon in the Greek daily Ethnos showed two Jewish soldiers dressed as Nazis, with Stars of David on their helmets, thrusting knives into Arabs. Its caption reads: “Do not feel guilty, my brother. We were not in Auschwitz and Dachau to suffer, but to learn.”

Even the United States, Israel’s strongest ally, has embraced a foreign policy that dilutes its support of the Jewish state by appeasing and legitimizing Arab ambitions toward Jerusalem and Israel. Washington’s latent anti-Semitism was revealed in two major events last year: first, the Annapolis peace talks, and second, the release of the infamous National Intelligence Estimate (NIE).

In the wake of the Annapolis peace talks, Caroline Glick wrote: “This week the Bush administration legitimized Arab anti-Semitism. In an effort to please the Saudis and their Arab brothers, the Bush administration agreed to physically separate the Jews from the Arabs at the Annapolis conference in a manner that aligns with the apartheid policies of the Arab world which prohibit Israelis from setting foot on Arab soil.”

Less than a week later, the U.S. released the nie, making the groundbreaking announcement denying the existence of an Iranian nuclear weapons program—which signaled a revolutionary change in America’s foreign policy in the Middle East. Yossi Klein Halevi responded in the New Republic:

America, even under George Bush, is hardly likely to go to war to stop a program many Americans now believe doesn’t exist.

Until now, pessimists here could console themselves that a last-resort Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities would likely draw wide international sympathy and even gratitude—very different from the near-total condemnation that greeted Israel’s attack on Saddam’s reactor in 1981. Now, though, the nie will ensure that if Israel does attack, it will be widely branded a warmonger, and faulted for the inevitable fallout of rising oil prices and increased terror.

The sense of betrayal within the Israeli security system is deep. After all, Israel’s great achievement in its struggle against Iran was in convincing the international community that the nuclear threat was real; now that victory has been undone—not by Russia or the European Union, but by Israel’s closest ally.

The NIE essentially amounted to America’s betrayal of Israeli statehood.

In Britain, anti-Semitism is exceedingly worse, and manifests itself in multiple ways. Jews in Britain are four times more likely to be attacked because of their religion than are Muslims; synagogues are regularly attacked; schoolchildren are routinely persecuted; rabbis are punched and knifed; and British Jews are forced to hire security guards for protection at weddings and community events.

In 2006 Denis MacShane chaired a committee of British parliamentarians to examine anti-Semitism in Britain. Their report showed that beyond the physical attacks and persecution there was also “what we described as anti-Jewish discourse, a mood and tone whenever Jews are discussed, whether in the media, at universities, among the liberal media elite or at dinner parties of modish London. To express any support for Israel or any feeling for the right of the Jewish state to exist produces denunciation, even contempt,” MacShane wrote (op. cit.).

Same wart, different mutation.

Over the past few days, Western politicians and the media have made plenty of worthy statements about the Holocaust, condemning Hitler’s actions and promising that history will never be repeated. History shows, however, that platitudes are no match for rank anti-Semitism. The proclivity of Western governments and the Western media to refrain from supporting Jewish statehood while at the same time throwing their weight behind Israel’s enemies, is indicative of an international community that is turning its back on the Jewish state.

Adolf Hitler despised the Jews as a race; today large swaths of the international community are against Israel as a state. Do we really believe the difference between these two forms of anti-Semitism is enough to prevent another Holocaust?
