The Rebbe as Moshiach

Schneerson (1994)

Today's Golden Oldie is from June 1994.

After having been declared by many of his followers to be the Messiah, fifteen years ago this month, on June 12, 1994, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, died.

But to many of his Chabad-Lubavitch followers, his "apparent" death did not shake their belief that he was, and would soon reveal himself to be, "King Moshiach".
According to Chabadworld.net:

"In 1992, 175 leading rabbis around the world signed a Torah ruling stating that the Rebbe has satisfied the legal requirements to be Moshiach.

Following his apparent passing in 1994, some questioned whether the Rebbe may have lost his status as the presumed Moshiach. According to Judaism, Moshiach may come from the living or from the dead. Practically speaking, many Jews had trouble accepting that Moshiach can arise from the dead for numerous reasons ... " -more

The Rebbe as Moshiach

In summary, the rabbinic rulings have established as binding Torah Law that (1) The Messianic redemption is at hand. (2) Moshiach may be resurrected. (3) The Rebbe is Moshiach. (4) The Rebbe is a prophet of Biblical stature. (5) The Rebbe admits to being a prophet and to being the King Moshiach. (6) We should follow him and believe his words, including that he is Moshiach and will presently be revealed to us tangibly.

Such was written about the dead and buried Menachem Mendel Schneerson, who had the chutzpah to consider himself the Mashiach, the Messiah, and permit others to be so misled. Only Yeshua has fulfilled the initial requirements, the biblical criteria for being the King of the Jews, the King of Israel, and Yeshua alone was dead and resurrected, reserved in Heaven until the appointed time, soon to return and finish the Work of God and seal it as mission accomplished.

Yeshua is the Suffering Servant
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man (not a nation, a man) of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we (collective Israel, especially Judah) hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He (one man) was despised, and we (Israel/Judah) did not esteem Him.

Jesus GAVE His Life To Give Us LIFE!
The passionate anti-Semites/anti-Zionists would do well to note Jesus' words of life and forgiveness: "FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, for they know not what they do...". Who are puny men to continue a blood libel against every Jew for the actions of a relative few?

The REAL JESUS Can't Return Until...
Prophecy clearly reveals that the REAL JESUS CHRIST will not return to Earth from Heaven (in full view of all mankind -- not from some secret
EU or Vatican chamber or desert cave) until after Jerusalem has suffered under a Gentile EU occupation for three and one half years

Jews to Receive Jesus as Israel's King!
Is there strong indication in the Bible that Israel will have a change of heart and accept Yeshua because of the preaching of two prophets in Jerusalem, the
Two Witnesses announced in Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11?

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel
I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all 12 Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it). I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God...

God is with the Jews!
Zechariah 8:23

"Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In those days ten men [representatives of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel?] from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.""

Israel and Judah Must Get House in Order Before King Messiah Arrives
According to the rabbis, the "Lost Ten Tribes" are for all intents and purposes "Gentiles." This information constitutes further proof that the "Lost Ten Tribes" are not those diverse claimants (African, Indians, Burmese) who maintain remnants of Judaism from somebody's former conversion or contact with the religion of Judaism.

The Great Mideast Commission: Reaching the Cities of Judah
So there is a physical preparing, as well as a spiritual, in preparing the way for Messiah's Coming! Further, God says we are to SHOUT, with amplified power, to the CITIES OF JUDAH the glad message that the Messiah is soon coming" - Autobiography of Herbert W Armstrong, Volume II, pages 469-470
